Discipleship Class
“Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.” – C.S. Lewis
To go deep means truly knowing Christ, and knowing Christ takes time to go deep. Deeper and deeper still. We are called to be a people that become disciples, that make disciples. Discipleship brings sanctification. Sanctification does not always feel like salvation, but daily we are being made more like Christ through our surrender and His unconditional love and grace. If you desire more in your relationship with Christ and He is challenging you to go deeper, experience a greater sanctification, and make disciples, we pray that you will join the discipleship class for 2018.
This class has two parts:
In-class meetings will be a “pouring in” time, when we will discuss Scripture readings, share personal experiences with various class assignments, and watch/listen to various lessons and sermons together. All in-class meetings will take place on Tuesdays at 7:15pm in the Chapel, immediately following Pastor Kevin’s Bible Study.
Out-of-class discussions will take place on a private online outlet. Here, class members will be asked to participate in virtual discussions about various topics. These online discussions will take the place of in-class meetings every other week.
