Kevin 2011
Kevin Cain
Pastor Kevin along with his wife, Lesley, founded Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church in December of 1998 with an initial congregation of 20 plus people. Pastor Kevin gave his life to the Lord at the age of ten, began preaching when he was sixteen, served his first four churches when he was 20, and then started an outreach ministry which held alternative worship service in Westover Park, along with publishing a newsletter, titled, “Peace Through Words.” His ministerial life was a bit of a whirlwind until Dr. Edward Williamson, while on a chartered bus to a Promise Keepers event in Indianapolis, asked Kevin to leave the family business and begin full-time, pastoral ministry through the planting of Kingdom E.M.C. in Westover. The whirlwind transformed to a tornado and God has been defining the future of individuals through changed lives ever since. Today Kingdom E.M.C. ministers to over 600 folks per Sunday through its two services. Pastor Kevin and his wife served as the directors of the Morgantown High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This vital ministry to the youth of the Morgantown community has blessed hundreds of student athletes and their parents. Kevin is also the father of three children: Tanner, Garrett, and Cameron.
